Annies Lil Player: This cutting horse prospect has pedigree and presence! He is by the stallion Annies Cat (LTE $56,000) out of our great Freckles Playboy mare Playboys Sonita (LTE $4800). Playboys Sonita was trained and shown by Loren Christianson and was known to have a huge stop, great eye appeal and the intelligence to read a cow. The dams career was unfortunately cut short when she broke her hip during practice. Due to her huge heart and courage she was able to survive the injury and is now retired to our broadmare band. This 2008 colt is her first foal and it is already clear she is passing on her traits to the next generation. He was started by Cody Smith and is already on cows. Asking $7000.

Balsams Cash Cow: This 3 year old mare is strong, cowy and has a great stop. She is out of, Docs Balsam, (offspring earnings over $14,000) and by a Playgun son, Peppy Plays For Cash (NCHA earnings $290,000). The mare spent her first year with Cody McArthur and spent the last several months with Cody Smith. Asking: $12,000.

Congratulations to Brad and Heather Pedersen on the purchase of Dolly Rey and best of luck in the 2010 Derby!!! She will be dearly missed but we are glad she has gone to such a great home.
